'The Bachelorette' Australia News: Is It Over for Sophie Monk, Stu Laundy?

It has only been a week since the final episode of "The Bachelorette Australia," but new reports suggest that it's already over between Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy. According to reports, Monk broke up with Laundy just a few days after she chose him over Jarrod Woodgate in the season finale.

In the afternoon of Oct. 27, photos of Stu and Laundy made the rounds online, showing the couple having a spat. The heated argument reportedly happened just shortly before their awkward "Project" interview held on the same day. The journalists who posted the controversial photos said on social media, "She hates him. #ItsDone #PoorSophie."

Although their rumored breakup is a hot topic on social media these days, both Sophie and Stu still maintain that everything's fine between them. They even recently posted some photos and videos of them on social media to debunk the rumors. However, speculations are rife that the two are simply trying to pretend that they are still together because they are bound by their contract with the show.

If speculations about their split are true, then Woodgate might just take his second shot at love. It can be recalled that after the season finale last week, Woodgate said in an interview that Monk would always have a special place in his heart. He also said that given the chance, he would love to take her back. "The feelings are still there, Sophie and I had something real. The connection we had and the emotions we grew over time — what people don't see behind the scenes is what we've actually achieved together," he said.

Meanwhile, radio star Em Rusciano recently claimed that the split rumors are true. According to her, she witnessed the awkward interview of the two last Friday night, and she could say that Monk had only "played a trick on everyone because the ultimate prize for her will be a great career, not a man."
