'The Big Bang Theory' Season 11 Episode 12 Spoilers: Penny Fights Bernadette for Amy's Maid of Honor Spot
Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will vie for the title of Amy's (Mayim Bialik) maid of honor in the upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory."
In the episode titled "The Matrimonial Metric," the synopsis reveals that it is time for Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and his fiancée to decide on who will become their main sponsors for the wedding. Since they have a lot of friends to choose from, the couple will reportedly use "science" to decide who will have the privilege of becoming their best man and maid of honor. Penny will have a serious talk with the future bride, predictably to check on her chances of being picked. She thinks she is a better choice since Bernadette is on bed rest due to her pregnancy.
Sheldon and Amy, however, will be determined to undergo a special process before coming to a decision. They will subject their friends to a bunch of "secret" experiments to see their worth. Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and the gang will definitely hate what the engaged couple has planned for them. Leonard, specifically, can do without all the hoopla. Last episode, he was depressed thinking how his life paled in comparison to his brother who was doing good deeds in Rwanda. When Leonard received a letter from his sibling, he had no way of expecting the negative effect it would have on him and his self confidence.

Meanwhile, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Howard (Simon Helberg) seem to be over their little tiff. Raj helped his best friend plan baby Hayley's birthday party even though he was still upset and for that, Howard was thankful. Their argument started when Howard told Raj his clothes for an interview were awful. Years of disappointment over the other's "abuse" bubbled to the surface and Raj had enough. He refused to have a conversation with Howard. The other retaliated by uninviting his friend in his daughter's party. Fortunately, Stuart (Kevin Sussman) screwed up and gave the boys a chance to make up.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 11 will return on Thursday, Jan. 4 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
