Caroline is hesitant to tell Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) about her pregnancy, especially after he told her that he had a vasectomy that is irreversible. It might be too late for Caroline to know about Ridge's vasectomy, now that she's pregnant. According to Soap Opera Story, Caroline's doctor assured her that Ridge can still be the baby's father, but she strongly suspects the baby is not Ridge's.

On the other hand, Ridge feels unhappy not being able to give Caroline their own children.
