'The Flash' Season 2 Spoilers: Time Slows Down for Barry

The new year doesn't look so good for a speedy hero as spoilers reveal that "The Flash" will be facing a villain who has the ability to slow time down, which could mean very big trouble for the cast.

In the official synopsis released by The CW, it was revealed that the team of heroes, including The Flash himself, will have to track down a meta-human who can slow time before the entire city turns into a disastrous town.

When time is slowed down, it means Barry (Grant Gustin) will possibly lose the power to use his lightning speed. He will then be prone to receiving attacks and he might get seriously injured. Aside from the hero, other people will also be in big trouble. People will be late for work, traffic jams will be everywhere, and just about everything in the city will be a disaster.

Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) will help Barry in his search for this meta-human who has the power to possibly take down The Flash. Will their team work be enough to stop him before it's too late?

Another troublesome incident is about to take place when the show returns after the winter hiatus. Patty (Shantel VanSanten) will get kidnapped moments before Barry gets the chance to tell her that he is the speedy hero. His chances of telling Patty the truth are now getting more and more scarce.

Meanwhile, Joe and Iris will finally get to know Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) better, the new family member introduced in the previous episode. Wally's entry won't be as easy as the team expected, especially since he happens to be interested in things that Joe is totally against — things such as drag racing.

Joe isn't the only one who will find it difficult to be in good terms with Wally as it was revealed earlier that the new guy won't really see Barry as his brother. Fans speculate that Wally will probably get into Barry's nerves in the upcoming episodes.

"The Flash" season 2, episode 10 will air on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
