'The Flash' Season 2 Episode 9 Spoilers: What Will the Winter Finale of 'The Flash' Bring?
Before "The Flash" season 2 takes a break this year, Barry (Grant Gustin) will have to deal with several villains in the upcoming episode of the show. Fans are curious to know what the winter finale will bring to its viewers, especially after coming from a crossover with "Arrow."
According to Carter Matt, Barry will have to deal with three major villains this coming holidays, and it will not be easy for him. Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) will be back again this episode, and he will be joined by the Weather Wizard (Liam McIntyre) and the Trickster (Mark Hamill).
The website said that fans love it when these two villains are brought back to appear on the show. The Weather Wizard and the Trickster teaming up with Captain Cold are always expected to bring chaos, and viewers wonder how Barry and the others at Star L.A.B.S. will survive their attack.
Meanwhile, according to the International Business Times, Captain Cold might later side with Team Flash, since he will become a hero, and the lead of the "Legends of Tomorrow," which will also air on The CW network next year.
The synopsis of the upcoming episode, which is titled "Running to Stand Still," was posted on Spoilers Guide, and the full summary reads, "When Mark Mardon AKA The Weather Wizard (guest star Liam McIntyre) returns to break Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) and James Jesse AKA The Trickster (guest star Mark Hamill) out of Iron Heights, Barry (Grant Gustin) must stop these rogues from taking over Central City during Christmas. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) meet Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale)."
