'The Good Wife' Season 7 News: Series Finale Not Far Off
The recent Super Bowl revealed some sad news for fans of the CBS series "The Good Wife."
During the Super Bowl commercials, a teaser for the upcoming episodes of "The Good Wife" season 7 revealed that it was going to be the final season of the series. The end of "The Good Wife" has been speculated since the announcement of the creators', Robert and Michelle King, departure from the series.
The co-creators recently posted a statement regarding a matter on their official Twitter account. The post reads, "Telling the story of the Education of Alicia Florrick is the creative dream of a lifetime. It was always our plan to tell it over 7 seasons. We wanted the story to have a beginning, middle, and an end and it's the reason we had episode titles count up from one word to four, then back down again."
They also expressed their gratitude to the cast and crew of the series, who were instrumental in making the series a success. They also stated that they are looking forward to celebrate the final episodes of the series.
According to TV Line, the star of the series, Julianna Margulies, also shared her sentiments toward the series finale. Like the creators, she explained that she is happy to be part of the series. She said, "As an actress and a producer, it has been an absolute honor to be a part of a series that, throughout seven years, never settled on being just good… but always strived to be extraordinary."
However, fans have been airing their complaints regarding the news on social media. It was reported that fans were upset and taken aback with the fact that the end of "The Good Wife" is approaching. There are still many questions that need addressing in the upcoming episodes of "The Good Wife."
