'The Leftovers' Season 2 Spoilers: Problems Arise for Kevin and Nora

"The Leftovers" season 2 is just a few days away before its premiere, and fans have been patiently waiting for the show's comeback.

This upcoming season, Kevin Garvey (Justin Theroux) will move to a town in Texas called Miracle. Miracle, which is just newly renamed from Jarden, is the only known town in the world that does not have any "departures." He will be joined by Nora Durst (Carrie Coon), whom Kevin now have a romantic relationship with. Problems will arise early on to the new couple after they start their new life in Miracle.

The premiere episode of the second season is entitled "Axis Mundi," according to a post on Carter Matt. "Axis Mundi" is another term to the center of the world, or also the connection between the Heaven and the Earth. The title is enough to give a clue to the viewers on what to expect in "The Leftovers" episode.

Carter Matt has posted a full synopsis of the episode, and the summary says, "Kevin, Nora and Jill try to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of the Mapleton riots, but problems from the past keep resurfacing. The new Garvey clan finds a fresh start in the safety of Miracle. Nora makes an impulsive choice, while Kevin gets entangled in the Murphy family's problems."

Damon Lindelof, the series' creator and also co-creator of "Lost," just teased fans that the reason on why Miracle, Texas does not have any departure will still remain a mystery, according to The Verge. Season 1 did not try to explain the big mystery, and it seems it will be no different this new season. Fans will just have to wait for the things to slowly unfold in "The Leftovers" season 2.

The premiere episode of "The Leftovers" will air this Sunday on HBO.
