'The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask' Gets Remaster for Nintendo 3DS, Release on Spring 2015
Nintendo has announced today during a Nintendo Direct presentation that "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" will finally be getting a remake on the Nintendo 3DS. The news first sprung during the Electronic Entertainment Expo earlier this year, where Zelda director Eiji Aonuma promised a "Majora's Mask 3D" was coming.
The game is a sequel to "Ocarina of Time" and will likely be getting imrpved visuals in the remaster. However, Nintendo did not announce whether the game will be getting additional content when it is released on Spring 2015. There were also no announcements of how much the game will cost but it will likely be around $40.
"The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" was first released for the Nintendo 64 console. It came out on April 27, 2000 in Japan, Oct. 26 same year in North America, and on Nov. 17 same year for Europe.

Afterwards, the game was then released for the Nintendo GameCube as part of "The Legend of Zelda: Collector's Edition."
The game is the sixth main title in "The Legend of Zelda" series as well as the second game in the series to use 3D graphics. The game takes place in Termina, an alternate version of Hyrule where the Skull Kid steals Majora's Mask, an ancient artifact and uses it to make the Moon crash on Termina after three days, effectively destroying the world.
Players are thus thrust into those three days where they repeatedly re-do the whole cycle to try and find ways to prevent the destruction of the world.
