'The Real Housewives of Atlanta': Episode 9 '50 Shades of Shade' Recap
On last Sunday's episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," Cynthia and Peter check out a new location for their business venture, Kandi throws a party, and Demetria finds out the truth about her boyfriend, Roger Bobb.
In the episode titled "50 Shades of Shade," Cynthia is going into business with Peter to open a new Bar One. The two check out a location that doesn't look very promising, but behind it is a funeral home and according to Peter's friend, Martin Luther King's body resided there while awaiting burial. This was enough to convince Peter as he told Cynthia to get her checkbook out.
Meanwhile, Kandi invites Claudia to guest star on her show, and Claudia reveals that she knows Porsha's mysterious Nigerian Prince, and that the man has many girls on the side. Claudia's revelations inspire Kandi to throw a party for the girls.

Though her personal life is in shambles, Phaedra is doing well in her career as she receives an award for excellence. Phaedra is not letting Apollo's downfall eclipse her career, and though they are married, they are still individuals who can make good or bad choices, and who can succeed or fail depending on what they choose.
At the party, Nene is in a strange mood as she deflects a hug from Kenya after they just made up last week. She acknowledges Claudia's presence by saying that they've met before, but Nene didn't actually greet her. Claudia pulls her aside and tells Nene that she feels like she's getting the cold shoulder from her. Nene shrugs and says, "That's just Nene." Claudia politely says "Alright Nene, bye. Thanks."
The ladies go around and open up about their relationship status, and Demetria proudly announces that she has been with Roger Bobb for eight years now. Kandi's friend, Gocha, said, "You've been dating Roger Bobb for eight years? That's funny, because I was dating him exclusively last year and he said he was your manager."
Demetria is shocked. She runs outside and Cynthia follows to comfort her. Demetria says that the girl is lying and Roger Bobb loves her.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
