'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 7: Episode 10 'Puerto Read-co' Recap

On last Sunday's episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," lots of insults and "shade" were thrown around as Demetria McKinney gets into an argument Phaedra Parks, and Claudia Jordan gives Nene Leakes a piece of her mind.

"Puerto Read-co" starts with Kandi inviting Demetria out for lunch and apologizing to her about what happened at her party when another girl claimed that Demetria's boyfriend has been cheating on her. Demetria accepts the apology and tells Kandi how she's her idol and wants to work with her in the future.

Later, Phaedra and Nene visit Demetria at the recording studio, and while Nene compliments her singing, Phaedra thinks that at 35, she's too old to be a pop star. Phaedra doesn't let up as she asks Demetria if she has done crack because of her role as a crack addict on Tyler Perry's "House of Payne." Demetria takes offense at this.

Everyone goes to Puerto Rico to hear Demetria sing. Kandi, Demetria and Porsha arrive first, then Claudia, Cynthia, and Kenya. Nene and Phaedra arrive last. At the hotel, Porsha, Demetria and Kandi discuss whether or not Phaedra was insulting Demetria with the crack comment.

At dinner, each group talks about how the other group is being rude to them, and Demetria, unable to take it any longer, says that she feels like Phaedra is insulting her for no reason at all. Phaedra says that she was just being honest, but Demetria was having none of it and said, "The only thing we have in common is the number eight: yours is going, mine has been here for eight," which is a reference to Apollo's prison sentence and the number of years that Demetria has been with Roger Bobb.

At the other side of the table, Claudia is bristling at Nene and decides to go off on her when Nene says "Ask Rick Smiley", which is a reference to her. What follows is a barrage of insults volleyed by Nene and Claudia.

"You wish you had what I had in the bank darling," said Nene.

"I pay my own bills, I don't have to get on a pole," said Claudia, referring to Nene's past as a dancer.

"I'm very college educated. You didn't know [expletive]?" said Nene.

"You went to college? Spell bridesmaids," retorted Claudia.

"I'm in my forties, you're in your forties," Nene said.

"When you were my age, you had edges," Claudia fired back.

It certainly looks like Claudia isn't scared of Nene at all, which made Kandi exclaim, "Claudia is reading Nene like hooked on phonics."

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
