'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Star Teresa Giudice Slams Sofia Vergara After Awkward Encounter
Teresa Giudice has expressed her disappointment over how Sofia Vergara treated her during a photo-op.
"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star revealed that she was insulted by Vergara when they met at a recent event. Speaking with Us Weekly, Giudice said the "Modern Family" actress was reluctant to be in one picture with her.
"After the picture was taken, she said to her assistant or publicist, loud enough for me to hear, 'Why did you make me take a picture with that woman?' I found it to be very rude and condescending given the fact that I had just met her and I wasn't the one asking for the photo," Giudice explained.
Giudice added that Vergara even tried to upstage her while taking the picture. During the "Gettin Real with the Housewives" panel last week, she recounted the incident to her co-star Danielle Staub and recalled thinking: "B**ch, I don't want to take a picture with you!"
The past few years has been quite a struggle for Giudice, who previously served 11 months in prison for bank and mail fraud. Still grieving the death of her mother, the Bravo celebrity is currently raising her four daughters Gia, 16, Gabriella, 12, Milania 11, and Audriana, 8, on her own while her husband Joe Giudice is behind bars to serve his own 41-month sentence for fraud charges.
On Wednesday's episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Giudice was confronted by her eldest daughter Gia for having a lenient parenting style. Gia opened up about the lack of discipline at their home now that Giudice is in charge.
"While you were away, dad — he was very strict. Like, he really was. When you came home, you don't discipline much because I feel like you're like scared we're going to hate you," said Gia.
