'The Real Housewives of New York City' Season 9 News, Updates and Spoilers: Wild Reunion Episodes as Luann de Lesseps and Bethenny Frankel Fight
The stars of Bravo reality TV series "The Real Housewives of New York City" (RHONY) recently got off from an awkward reunion. It was understandably cringeworthy, as the night went from the ladies tiptoeing around each other, to flat-out calling each other names and calling each other out on their scandalous pasts. Following the events of RHONY Season 8, it seems as if the ladies have yet to forgive each other.
Three-part reunion
The first thing that happened on "The Real Housewives of New York City" reunion episodes was Bethenny Frankel dropping a major bomb: Tom D'Agostino, Luanne de Leseps' current flame, was caught kissing another woman on camera. But instead of flying off into a rage, Luann refrained from condemning Tom himself, and went into a self-deprecating spiral blaming herself for fighting with her philandering beau.

She went on to sadly justify why she would still marry him anyway, saying she's not going to let one kiss ruin her life. She'd even defended Tom and said he already realized his mistakes. And then Luann did a 180-degree turn and deflected on her fellow RHONY star Bethenny.
Instead of calling out her boyfriend, Luann shot back at Bethenny, calling her a "horrible person." Bethenny then stood over Luann screaming "LieAnn" to her face. Andy Cohen then brought up Bethenny's divorce, making her cry. The blame quickly shifted from Tom to Bethenny as the RHONY stars ganged up on the messenger instead.
Bethenny skipping the group hug
As the wild reunion thankfully wound up to a merciful end, Andy Cohen had called on the RHONY ladies for one final hug. The disgraced Bethenny skipped the gesture, which didn't go unnoticed by RHONY fans. Bethenny later on tweeted that she doesn't double kiss nor fake hug, insinuating that it would have been terrible for her to pretend to like the people who had just been insulting her minutes ago.

Following the events on the "The Real Housewives of New York City" reunion, stars Ramona Singer and Bethenny took to social media to promulgate the hashtag, #LIEAnn, in reference to Luann's complete turnaround during the episodes. Ramona posted an Instagram photo, captioned: #Really?, where she's seen holding up her phone that had the picture of Tom's public cheating.
Bethenny, on the other hand, minced no words for her RHONY co-star as she went on to mock Luann when a fan asked what the latter's definition of cheating was. Bethenny replied: "Not getting caught."
Fiery episodes from "The Real Housewives of New York City," as usual. Luckily for fans, the RHONY ladies will be back for Season 9, although no date has been set yet.
