'The Real Housewives of New York' News: Kim Zolciak-Biermann Hires High-Profile Attorney Amid NeNe Leakes Feud

Kim Zolciak-Biermann's feud with NeNe Leakes may escalate into a legal battle.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" stars have been fighting on social media these days. The conflict started last week when Kim's 20-year-old daughter Brielle Bierman posted a Snapchat video showing roaches crawling on the floor of NeNe's bathroom.

NeNe posted the said video on her Instagram and slammed the mother-daughter duo in the caption. She also used the hashtag "#racisttrash," giving the impression that she is accusing her co-star of racism.

Kim already responded to NeNe's post and denied any allegations about her being racist. On Thursday's episode of Larry King Now, Kim revealed that she has hired high-powered lawyer Marty Singer to help her with the dispute. A source told Us Weekly that Kim is planning to take legal actions against her fellow Housewife.

"Kim hired Marty to represent her and handle NeNe in light of Nene's defamatory comments about Kim," said the insider. "Marty and his team are advising Kim about what actions she can take." NeNe has yet to comment on Kim's latest move.

Meanwhile, Nene issued an apology on Monday for a rape comment she made during a stand-up show. The reality star was getting booed by the audience while she was performing Saturday night. In response, NeNe told one of the hecklers in the crowd that she hoped her Uber driver raped her once she goes home. As expected, many criticized her for her statement.

"I truly regret and apologize for what I said from the stage in Oakland over the weekend. Sometimes words can cut deep and hurt when you have no intentions of them doing so," NeNe, who also admitted to being a victim of sexual abuse, said in her apology.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 10 premieres Sunday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
