'The Sinner' Updates: Series Possible to Have A Second Season, Says Jessica Biel

While "The Sinner" was originally meant to be a limited series, Jessica Biel, who plays the role of Cora Tannetti on the series, has revealed that there is a possibility for the show to have a second season.

According to Biel, while nothing is official as of this writing, the USA Network may just renew "The Sinner" for another season, thanks to the positive response from the viewers.

"We haven't been officially picked up for a second season, and we never really thought about doing a second season. This was meant to be a limited series ... (but) because people have responded the way that they have ... we'd really have to rethink what it is now," Biel said in a recent interview with Global News recently.

"I guess that's one idea they're working on," Pullman said.

Nonetheless, even if "The Sinner" does not get renewed for another season, Pullman assured the avid followers of the show that its story will satisfy once its season finale airs next week. According to Pullman, the season finale episode, which may also be the series' last, will surely surprise as it is something that fans cannot be prepared for.

"The Sinner" season 1 finale airs tomorrow evening, Sept. 20, over The USA Network at 10 EDT.
