'The Voice' Season 9 News: Former Coach Christina Aguilera Wishes Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Every Happiness
Following the revelation of Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's relationship, many were surprised, but most are happy for the two. One of those who have sent their well wishes for the newly dating couple is "The Voice" former coach Christina Aguilera, and the singer said to just let the two mentors be happy.
During an interview with US Magazine, Christina admires Gwen for being strong, and she thinks that the 46-year-old singer deserves to be happy. "I keep telling them both to stay strong and have fun!" the 34-year-old singer said. "Divorce and life is hard enough! If you find someone who makes you happy, you gotta go for it. So they deserve it and they deserve to be happy!"
Christina also went through divorce in 2010, with former husband, Jordan Bratman; however, she is now engaged to Matt Rutler, who is also the father of her daughter, Summer Rain. The "Genie in a Bottle" singer will be back to join the other coaches on "The Voice" season 10.
In other news, Gwen's ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, was reported to have a long-term relationship with their family nanny, Mindy Mann, which is contrary to what it appears to be an amicable divorce between the two. In another report by Us Magazine, Gwen apparently discovered Gavin's affair with their nanny through their family iPad. According to the website, one of the other nannies found out about the exchange, and told Gwen. Gwen saw the text exchanges between her ex-husband and their nanny, as well as nude photos of the nanny.
The said nanny was fired, and Gwen confronted the 50-year-old rocker, who initially said it was all just "flirtation;" however, he later admitted about the 3-year affair, according to Inquistr. The estranged couple later announced their divorce plans last August.
