'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers: Lucille Could Take Action

With the finale of "The Walking Dead" fast approaching, fans are anticipating the violence to come with Negan in the picture.

There has been much anticipation since it was announced that the iconic comic book character Negan will be introduced to the series. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who is taking on the role of Negan, is expected to debut the character in the finale of Season 6.

With that, the finale of the current season of "The Walking Dead" is expected to bring a lot of violence to Rick and the rest of the group. In fact, one of the show's stars Lauren Cohan hinted at the upcoming excitement ahead.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Cohan shared a teaser for the episode. She explained that the upcoming finale will contain the biggest cliff-hanger of the show yet. This brought about speculations that a death could soon be presented.

Avid fans of the comic series are aware that Negan is the one who killed Glenn. With that, there are rumors are Glenn will be in danger now that Negan is present. The comic books showed Glenn being killed by Negan's favorite weapon Lucille.

As reported by ET Online, the executive producer of "The Walking Dead," Gale Anne Hurd, revealed that viewers will soon see Lucille take down a character. She said, "Someone is going to be facing Lucille. If you don't know what Lucille is, it's what he names his [barbed wire-covered] bat. So yes, at some point, someone is going to be facing Lucille."

Her comment left fans wondering if she was talking about the upcoming death of Glenn, as it was seen in the comics. However, the actor behind the character of Glenn, Steven Yeun, also addressed the talk concerning Glenn's death.

According to Vanity Fair, Yeun stated, "I know people are going to always go, 'Negan kills Glenn in the comics,' but rest assured that we don't necessarily do what's in the comics."

"The Walking Dead" Season 6 airs on AMC every Sunday nights.
