'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers: Will Glenn Die Again?

Fans of the series "The Walking Dead" will be sad to hear some heartbreaking news on one of the most popular characters.

It was reported that Glenn Rhee, played by Steven Yuen, could soon be departing from the upcoming series. Fans of the comic series have been anticipating this since the announcement that a new character named Negan, to be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, will be joining the series.

The comic series revealed that Negan was the one responsible for killing Glenn. With that, the executive producer of the series, Scott Gimple, recently spoke to TV Line about the matter. He said, "It'd be disingenuous of me to say, from a viewer's point of view, that I wouldn't be afraid. But what am I holding out hope for? That it isn't going to be like that? And, man, if it isn't going to be like that, then what is going to happen? I doubt it's going to involve flowers."

With that, fans can expect that the introduction of Negan will cause some problems for Rick and the group. According to E! News, Morgan shared some teasers about his new character. He said, "The real deal. He's a game changer and it's a complete 180 from what I'm doing on The Good Wife, which as an actor it's a dream come true. I get to be the biggest ass in the world. It's awesome."

The character of Negan is notorious for violence, as well as being the leader of a group called the Saviors, who are just as ruthless. The presence of the new group is expected to challenge Rick and the others, with regard to their morality.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 is expected to return on AMC this Feb. 14.
