'The X Factor 2015' News: Simon Is Left Without an Act; Will Rank Remaining Contestants

When the last Overs contestant, Anton Stephans, left last week, Simon Cowell was left without an act for the remaining weeks of "The X Factor 2015." With no act left, it seems that all the judge could do for now is rank the other contestants' act last night on the show.

According to Radio Times, the other judges were not excited when Cowell took it upon himself to rank the five acts left. Simon ranked Reggie N Bollie from Team Cheryl Fernandez-Versini first, who sang "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)"/"Azonto" mashup and "Dynamite." The music mogul said that Louisa Johnson from the Girls, who performed "Love Yourself" by Justine Bieber and "Jealous" by Labrinth is second on his list.

The judge said his third best is the Filipino girl group, 4th Impact, who sang "I'll Be There" by the Jackson 5 and "Fancy/Rick Girl" mashup. Even if the judge put the group in his top 3, Simon received tirades from the show's fans after he called the members of the group "A & B." He said, "A, B. B, your vocal was absolutely outstanding at parts," and according to the Mirror UK, the fans reacted strong to his comments. Some fans on Twitter called him "rude," while another called him "racist." Neither Simon nor ITV has commented about the issue.

On the other hand, the fourth and fifth on Simon's list are Lauren Murray from Team Rita Ora and Che Chesterman from the Boys. Lauren sang "Firestone" by DJ Kygo featuring Conrad Sewell, as well as Lesley Gore's "You Don't Own Me." Nick Grimshaw's last act alive in the competition, Che, sang "Try A Little Tenderness" and Adele's newest single "Hello." The singer forgot his lyrics, and is predicted to go home on tonight's episode.

The fifth elimination night of "The X Factor" will be aired tonight, Nov. 29, on ITV.
