'The Young and The Restless' Spoilers For The Week: Lily Steps in As Cane's Replacement
This Thursday, Oct. 5, on CBS' hit daytime drama "The Young and the Restless," Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) will be scouting for applicants, struggling in the process.
While Victoria and Billy are scouring the town for qualified applicants to fill in Cane's (Daniel Goddard) post, Jack (Peter Bergman) is grabbing anyone he can find who appears decent enough. Neil (Kristoff St. John), on the other hand, will drop by with a better suggestion, Lily (Christel Khalil).
Neil informs Victoria that Lily is fixed on working hard for her future, and recommends her for the job opening. Victoria seems to agree with the recommendation. She believes Lily will fit in just right and Billy will approve.
When the pair settles with their decision, they will formally recruit Lily for the job. Stunned, she will not hesitate to accept the offer.
Elsewhere in the episode, Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will give Cane a lesson about keeping faith and persistence. She will tell him to pull himself together and fight for his marriage.
When Cane drops by Juliet's (Laur Allen) place, he will learn that she had quite the encounter with Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry). When she mentions the divorce, he assures her that there is nothing to worry about. And when she brings up Hilary's past attempt to force her to leave town, Cane will side with Juliet.
Speaking of surprising run-ins, Hilary and Victoria will cross paths. When the former apologizes about their past argument, the latter will turn her down, especially since Victoria still believes that Hilary and Jack are up to something.
With the recent encounters, Victoria will start getting agitated until she gets a meltdown, surprising Hilary and Jordan (Damell Kirkwood). At Jabot Cosmetics, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) is slated to receive an award as Innovator of the Year. To celebrate the milestone, Jack will throw her a party.
"The Young and the Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
