'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers for Thursday, January 28, 2016: Phyllis Takes Plans Against Victor Up a Notch

Genoa City is in for an episode of thrill in "The Young and the Restless" as Phyllis continues to iron out her plans of completely destroying the town's big bad.

For the most part, a lot of people have already tried to take down Victor (Eric Braeden), but all to no avail. Not only is the old man the most powerful in the city but he also has a knack for blackmailing and making people do the dirty job of taking out people who try to get on his way.

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), on the other hand, has no plans of backing out. She has had enough of all the pushing around and bullying that Victor has done. While a lot has gone down and she has finally found alliances to help her in the fierce battle, Billy (Jason Thompson) isn't convinced that she will succeed.

While Billy has always been one of those who wanted to get a first hand on Victor, it seems this time that he would prefer to be out of the plan. After all, he finally has Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and the children back to his side so he isn't rushing his revenge — at least not now.

It is unclear how Phyllis will react to Billy's doubts, but rumor has it that she will be disappointed, especially knowing how Billy once was so determined to do anything in his power to eradicate Victor's power.

While Phyllis should try to understand that Billy is trying to fix his life with Victoria, the unstable guy can't blame Phyllis for all the angst and determination she is now feeling. They were supposed to be in it together. Now that Billy has doubts, he may also become a stumbling block to keep Phyllis from perfecting her plans.

To find out if Billy will totally turn his back on Phyllis, watch "The Young and the Restless," airing every weekdays on CBS.
