iOS 9.1 Update News, Features: Three More Reasons Why Users Should Wait for

iOS 9 offered a lot of new features and upgrades, but it is still far from being perfect. More and more users complain about the issues with the new Apple OS, and tech experts suggest to just wait for iOS 9.1 instead.

According to Forbes, "three more nasty surprises" await users that upgrade their devices to iOS 9.0.2. These are on top of existing iOS 9 issues like the broken notifications and iMessage failures.

One of the new problems discovered were the failure to load Apple's Game Center. According to Apple's website, the Game Center, "enables users to track their best scores on a leaderboard, compare their achievements, invite friends to play a game, and start a multiplayer game through auto-matching." But since the iOS 9 update, users cannot access this feature. Apple does not have a permanent fix yet on this issue, but users can try to restore their devices, back to just the iOS 9 system.

Another issue that was raised was the annoying touch screen failures. A user complained in the Apple forums about the intermittent function of the touch screen, and many users said that they also experienced the issue. The website also reported that some beta users of iOS 9.1 are experiencing the said issue, and many Apple device owners are frustrated with it.

Lastly, apps won't continue installing with iOS 9.0.2. Users complain about their broken app installation, where it just freezes. Some tried to reset when it happens, while some opted to just restore back to iOS 9, just to install or update an app. However, rumors say that the iOS 9.1 will fix this bug.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, iOS 9.1 will not only bring most of the fixes for the bugs in the current Apple OS but it will also bring a security patch. The website added that the new update is expected this month, so Apple users are still advised to just wait for the new OS to roll out, before updating to the "buggy" iOS 9.0.2.
