'Two and a Half Men' Cast Keeps Angus T. Jones, Despite Actor Bashing Show

Surprising many fans of the CBS sitcom "Two and a Half Men," executive producer of the show Chuck Lorre has confirmed that the young star Angus T. Jones will be returning to the show's 11th season.

The return of Jones, who plays Jake Harper on the CBS sitcom, was put in doubt when in a testimonial for Forerunner Christian Church, he blasted the show for it's sexual humor and content.

"Please stop watching ["Two and a Half Men,"] Angus urged fans in the testimonial. "People say it's just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch."

The young comedy star went on to say he did not even want to be on the show. "If I am doing any harm, I don't want to be [on the show]. I don't want to be contributing to the enemy's plan ... You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that."

While the 19-year-old Jones did eventually apologize for condemning the show, many fans believed he and "Two and a Half Men" would part way after the 10th season.

Another reason many believed Jones would leave the show is that he is beginning college in the fall, DigitalSpy.com reported.

However, it appears Angus Jones will be returning.

"[He can] explore college at this point in his life and when he's on a break, we'll try and scoop him up and put him on the show every chance we get," producer Chuck Lorre said.

It also appears that there is no bad blood between Jones and the CBS sitcom.

Lorre sang Jones' praises, adding, "He's a great kid. He's a great young man."
