Tyra Banks Spotted With Mystery Man After Erik Asla Split

Tyra Banks is back into the dating scene following her split from Erik Asla.

On Thursday, Oct. 5, the "America's Got Talent" host was photographed for the first time since her breakup with Asla. She was seen on a date with a mystery man at West Hollywood's Cake Mix.

The supermodel bared her toned midriff in a long-sleeve yellow crop top and jeans while her new beau sported a gray shirt. An insider confirmed to Us Weekly that Banks' relationship is new. Further details about her boyfriend, including his name, is still unknown.

As reported last week, Banks and Asla called it quits after five years together. They have one son together, 21-month-old York. Despite their split, the couple have reportedly agreed to continue co-parenting their only son.

A different source told Page Six that their separation was amicable. "It came drama-free and they're co-parenting their young son," said the insider.

While York is Banks' first child, Asla already has two daughters from a previous relationship. The source went on to say that the pair are still friends and they continue to work together professionally,

"He is slated to shoot the photos for the opening credits of ... the upcoming 'America's Next Top Model,'" added the source, referring to Asla's participation in the long-running modeling reality show. Banks is set to return to the series as host.

Banks and Asla met during an episode of the Norwegian version of "America's Next Top Model." Over the years, Asla — a professional photographer — has shot for several popular magazines such as German Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Allure.

In July, it was reported that Asla and Banks were having issues with their relationship following the birth of their son. The young boy was born through a surrogate after Banks admitted that she had "traumatic" experiences in fertility treatment.

"When I turned 40, the one thing I was not happy about is that I did not have kids. I'm like, 'Damn, the clock is ticking!'" said the TV personality.
