Ubisoft Releases Patch 3 for 'Assassin's Creed Unity,' Over 300 Fixes
Ubisoft had released Patch 3 for "Assassin's Creed Unity" for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, the biggest patch yet to fix framerate and crash errors. PC users will have to wait a week for their updates though. The notoriously buggy "Assassin's Creed" title receives the updates in light of the problems which has been plaguing the game since release.
The update which is rolling out will be trying to solve the problems associated with game crashes, connectivity issues, and major bugs. Ubisoft also revealed that they are planning updates to boost framerates in the future and is hoping Patch 3 will completely fix certain bugs, such as the dubbed "Haystack of Death" and saved game corruption.
"Patch 3 includes over three hundred fixes designed to improve your Assassin's Creed Unity experience. While you might notice some improvements to framerate as a result of Patch 3, we still have a future patch planned to further address framerate concerns," Ubisoft's Support team wrote in a post.
"The rollout itself will begin tomorrow (Wednesday November 26) on PS4 and Xbox One and later this week on PC. We have already begun working on Patch 4 and we expect to have further updates on it in the coming week," the team added.
The patch notes released by the support team is an extensive list and includes fixes on stability, performance, gameplay, connectivity and replication, matchmaking, AI & crowd animations, menu and HUD, and progression.
