'Uchuu Yorimo Tooi Basho' Premiere Date, Spoilers: Young Girls to Embark on a Journey to Antarctica in 2018
Four high school girls' journey to the South Pole begins in 2018 when the Japanese original television anime series, "Uchuu Yorimo Tooi Basho (A Place Further than the Universe)," premieres. What has brought on this much thirst for adventure in Hinata Miyake and her friends?
New details are now available for the upcoming television original anime series, including a promotional video, character designs and descriptions, and a possible release date.
The series will feature the story of four high school girls who will set out on a journey towards the South Pole. It is for this reason that the series has also been dubbed as "A story that leads to the Antarctica."

Kadokawa first announced the series at this year's Anime Expo, held last July at the Lost Angeles Convention Center. This also marked the popular Japanese publisher and anime company's first appearance at the annual event.
Furthermore, the company has also released character flyers in English at the recently held TIFFCOM 2017. The four main characters Mari Tamaki, Shirase Kobuchizawa, Yuzuki Shiraishi, and Hinata, are teenage girls with their own personal issues, weaknesses, and goals. Mari and Shirase are in their second year in high school, Yuzuki is one grade lower, while Hinata has since dropped out of school for an undisclosed reason.
Together, these girls are about to embark on the greatest adventure of their lives, wherein they will bond and grow together as they face all kinds of adversities and extreme conditions on their way towards Antarctica.
The upcoming series is being directed by Atsuko Ishikuza, with Jukki Hanada taking charge of series composition, and production studio Madhouse working on the animation. This is also the same team who has previously worked on the 2014 anime series, "No Game, No Life." On the other hand, Takahiro Yoshimatsu will be providing the character designs.
"Uchuu Yorimo Tooi Basho" premieres in January 2018 and will be streamed in select regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll under the title, "A Place Further Than the Universe."
