Upcoming Oppo Phones 2015: Mysterious 'Bezel-Less' Smartphone To Be Unveiled In Indonesia
A few days ago, a mysterious Oppo handset has surfaced online. In fact, it was even demoed in a short video clip.
But what's so interesting about this unknown smartphone? It has ultra-slim side bezels.
Based on previous reports, the Oppo phone's screen looks like it stretches toward the device's edges because there are almost no bezels.
For people who are wondering what this device is, we may soon find out the answer to that question.
According to a report by Phone Arena, another mysterious device has just been certified in Indonesia that was developed by Oppo. The smartphone has been certified by the agency equivalent to the FCC in the US.
Dubbed as A11w, the Oppo smartphone came from China and was approved by the Indonesian agency to go on sale. However, it is still unclear if this indeed the bezel-less smartphone that was leaked a couple of days ago.
Oppo is a Chinese manufacturer that has been producing mobile phones and other consumer devices in the past years. However, it made its break a couple of years ago when the world found out about its N1 handset that was packed by a swivel camera.
Last year, Oppo tried to beat other bigger names in the industry when it announced the Find 7 and Find 7a. However, compared to other Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, Huawei and Lenovo, the company offers a higher price tag for its products.
Hopefully, this new "revolutionary" phone with an edge-to-edge display would get reasonable pricing so it can be available to the mass market in Asia.
