'Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Spoilers, Plot News: Damon Jokes to Bonnie About Her Possible Death
"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will feature the show's characters moving on after's Elena's coma.
Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline's (Candice King) relationship will blossom into a deeper level, but will still have some cute and embarrassing moments between the two. On the other hand, things between Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) will be cringe-worthy, and their relationship will be the exact opposite of Stefan and Caroline's. This is considering the fact that Damon is still holding a grudge against Bonnie because of Elena (Nina Dobrev).
In a sneak peek video posted on The Hollywood Reporter, Damon jokes to Bonnie about her possible death. The scene started with Damon and Alaric (Matt Davis) seen drinking somewhere in Europe. The two do not have any idea of what they are consuming since they can't understand the language that are on the labels. Damon tries to decipher what language is on the label, and then says, "Oh, wait, where are we?"
Bonnie volunteers with the information, and tells them that they are in Amsterdam. Bonnie, who is completely sober, is writing in her journal on what is happening around her. The journal is for Elena when she wakes up from her sleep. Elena will be in coma until Bonnie dies, according to the spell cast on them.
"Dear Elena, yup, halfway across Europe and they're still drunk," Bonnie said while writing. "When she wakes up in 60-some years and finds out that Rick died from alcohol poisoning, she's gonna want to know what happened," Bonnie added.
Damon half-jokingly said, "Unless you tragically choke to death on those cocktail peanuts, and then I can tell her myself." Bonnie lets Damon's joke pass, and said that she'll just ride a bike, just like any other normal tourist would do. However, Damon continues with his tirade to Bonnie and says to not wear any helmet, ride the bike on the train tracks, and not look at both sides. Bonnie, who is definitely not feeling the love, just smiles and walks away.
The new season of "The Vampire Diaries" will premiere next Thursday, Oct. 8, on The CW.
