What Does Melania Trump Do? US First Lady Takes Youngest Trump Children Bowling

U.S. first lady Melania Trump was spotted out in New York on Monday, April 10, taking two of the youngest Trump children on an afternoon field trip in lower Manhattan.

The first lady took 11-year-old Barron and 23-year-old Tiffany out for some quality time, visiting a popular bowling alley at the Chelsea Pier in Manhattan, according to the Daily Mail.

Heavy security detail, which has drawn a lot of scrutiny in recent months, was required to make the afternoon outing possible. Hence, aside from another woman rumored to be Barron's nanny, the first family had about 30 Secret Service agents in tow to ensure their safety and protection.

Barron had to be picked up from his school, the elite Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, before the family enjoyed a couple of hours of bowling. Tiffany, who is rarely seen roaming the city, seemed to have tagged along for the afternoon trip, wearing a dark printed top and shoes. Melania, on the other hand, was seen wearing an army jacket instead of her standard Roland Mouret shift or coatdress.

The first lady spent the past weekend at the Trump Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, where they hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife, Peng Liyuan. She also met with Jordan's Queen Rania the previous week, and they went to visit schools in the country's capital while President Donald Trump and Jordan's King Abdullah II met each other at the White House.

The first lady and her 11-year-old son are expected to permanently move into the White House once Barron's school year has ended. Until then, President Trump's wife will likely continue to travel back and forth between Washington and New York.

President Trump and the first lady will be hosting the annual Easter Egg Roll event on Monday, April 17 at the White House.
