'While You Were Sleeping' Episodes 9 and 10 Spoilers: Nam Hong Joo Wants to Work as a Reporter Again
Tonight's back-to-back episodes of the popular Korean drama "While You Were Sleeping" will feature Nam Hong Joo (Bae Suzy) struggling even more and making a big decision for her career and love life.
According to spoiler reports, tonight's back-to-back episodes of "While You Were Sleeping" will reveal what Nam Hong Joo's life was before meeting prosecutor Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk). Reportedly, she was a reporter in the past but had to stop working as one after she saw herself collapsing while working in one of her dreams.
However, it is said that Nam Hong Joo will express her desire to return to her job of being a reporter in tonight's episode. Reportedly, she will argue that the future can change as already evident in several instances featured in previous episodes, including the car accident during Valentine's Day and the death of the abusive husband which led to the imprisonment of Jung Jae Chan's brother.
Nonetheless, it is suggested that Nam Hong Joo's decision to return will be questioned by her mother as she asks her if Jung Jae Chan will save or protect her in the event that she encounters problems in line with her job in the future.
While Nam Hong Joo will be confused, it is speculated that Jung Jae Chan will be there to guide her in making a decision. Reportedly, the two will have a serious conversation in a coffee shop, where Nam Hong Joo is suspected to seek Jung Jae Chan's advice on whether she should already return to being a reporter and reveal to him her fears about the future, although some sources claim they will talk about Jung Jae Chan's case.
Tonight's episodes will also feature Jung Jae Chan's co-workers in the Prosecutor's Office recognizing Nam Hong Joo as someone who used to be one of the toughest reporters for SBC. As they will see her wearing an apron, they will wonder why she dropped her former job and decided to work in a restaurant instead.
"While You Were Sleeping" episodes 9 to 10 are set to air, tonight, Oct. 11, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS.
