Who Is Tyler Clinton? Nephew of Bill, Hillary Clinton Signs On to IMG Models
While political couple Hillary and Bill Clinton are taking a break from the prying eyes of the public, their nephew, Tyler Clinton, seems to be doing the opposite, taking a step right into the spotlight.
The 22-year-old just recently signed a modeling contract with IMG Models, the same agency that represents some of the most well-known faces in the industry such as Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Ashley Graham. Several modeling shots are already available on his IMG page.
Tyler is the son of Roger Clinton, Jr., the 60-year-old half-brother of the former U.S. president. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University in California in May 2016, with his uncle giving the commencement address at his graduation. He moved from Los Angeles to New York to pursue a modeling career.
Tyler's budding modeling career will not be the first time that he has achieved significant media mileage. While his uncle was the president and living in the White House, a young Tyler attended events such as the annual Thanksgiving turkey pardon where he was photographed while in the arms of the former president
More recently, Tyler appeared at the Democratic National Convention in 2016 while Hillary was still in the middle of her presidential bid.
The model was also the subject of negative media attention when on Nov. 10, 2016, just two days after his aunt's defeat in the presidential election, news came out that Tyler had been arrested on "suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly striking a man over the head with a bottle in a violent bar brawl," as reported by RadarOnline.
The alleged altercation was verified by the police, who revealed that the incident took place over a year earlier, in June 2015.
Tyler has followed the footsteps of many young celebrity relatives that pursued careers in modeling, such as Kaia and Presley Gerber, the children of Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford; Rafferty Law, the son of Jude Law; and Levi Dylan, the grandson of Bob Dylan.
