Windows 10 Release Date Rolling Out to 190 Countries, Supporting 111 Languages
Since Microsoft made the announcement late last year, a lot of people have been interested in the new Windows 10 OS that will be launched a couple of months from now.
However, which markets would initially get the OS upgrade?
According to a report by The Verge, the Redmond giant would release the new operating system to 190 countries worldwide. In addition, Microsoft's latest creation would also support up to 111 different languages.
The information comes from Windows chief Terry Myerson who stated that the latest Microsoft OS would make its way to the market by summer.
Even with the release still a couple of months away, it seems Microsoft is already flexing its muscles working with other partner manufacturers.
In the report, the company is already working with Lenovo and Tencent in order to successfully make Windows 10 available in the world's biggest market – China.
In addition, Microsoft will also try its best to battle piracy, especially throughout the region.
Based on previous reports, Windows 10 will be a multi-platform operating system, which means it can run on smartphones, tablets, laptops and PCs.
Most PC manufacturers are Windows partners so it can be expected that all new releases in the latter half of 2015 would run on the latest version.
However, the Windows 10 system will definitely have problems taking on iOS and Android in mobile devices like phones and tablets.
As a result, Microsoft may be partnering with phone makers as well in order to promote the latest OS.
Yesterday, a Xiaomi Mi 4 was allegedly running the latest Windows version.
It is just a few weeks away until we see the latest Windows OS, and by then people would know whether Microsoft is back on track or not.
