'Wonder Woman' News, Spoilers: Gal Gadot Says Wonder Woman Is the 'Role of [Her] Dreams'; World Needs More Superheroines
Gal Gadot, who brought Diana Prince/Wonder Woman to life on the big screen for the first time in the recently-released "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," has said that the world needs more female superheroes.
During a live Twitter Q&A session on Tuesday, March 29, the Israeli actress, who served for two years as a soldier with the Israel Defense Forces, spoke about what she loves about Wonder Woman, what it is like being a role model for young women everywhere, and what her favorite things are about the iconic DC superheroine.
According to Gadot, who is set to portray the 75-year-old DC Comics character in the character's first solo live-action feature film next year, her favorite things about Wonder Woman, apart from the fact that she is a strong female icon, is that she is also "feminine" and "vulnerable" and that she has many layers that "Batman v Superman" gave fans a glimpse of.

"[E]verything she stands for — compassion, love, truth, justice, equality," the actress answered. "She's a whole lot of woman!"
When a Twitter follower asked what it feels like to be a role model for girls, Gadot wrote back:
"It feels great! Being a mother, it's very important that #WonderWoman comes back to life, we need more female [superheroes]."
Gadot, a former Miss Israel, has previously spoken up about how important getting the role of Wonder Woman is to her and how she wishes to do the role justice.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actress said, "This is the role of my dreams."
"Ever since I became an actress, I always said that I wanted to show the stronger side of women," she explained. "Little did I know that soon after, I would land this magnificent role."
