World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor to Be Released on Nov. 13, Level Cap Increased to 100

"World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor" is the upcoming fifth expansion to Blizzard's massive multiplayer online role-playing game "World of Warcraft." The expansion is scheduled for release on Nov. 13 and will only be available for the Windows PC and Macintosh OS X.

The expansion was first announced on November 8 last year at BlizzCon 2013 and is currently in beta. It follows the previous expansion, "Mists of Pandaria" and will increase the level cap from 90 to 100, upgrade player character models, as well as introduce player-built, upgradable garrisons.

The story will take place after the events of "Mists of Pandaria" and is set in an alternate universe on the world of Draenor. The world is the original homeworld of the orcs as per "Warcraft II: Beyond the Dark Portal," prior to its destruction at the end of the game's story.

The plot takes Garrosh Hellscream in his escape from the Pandarens after he was taken into custody after his fall as Warchief of the Horde. His escape was aided by a renegade bronze dragon where he travels to Draenor before the rise of the Horde.

He then prevents the orcish clans from drinking the blood of the demon lord Mannoroth which initially led to their corruption by the Burning Legion, which played a major role in the events of the first three Warcraft games.

From there, the orc clans unite into an "Iron Horde" where they use technology which Garrosh brought from his reality to conquer Draenor and leads to the opening of Dark Portal which they use to lay siege to Azeroth in the present era.
