McMahon and Owens have had several confrontations over the past year, and there has always been bad blood between them. At the end of the summer, their feud reached a new level when Owens blamed McMahon after he lost the United States Championship match. Their conflict led Owens to become more agressive inside the ring, while McMahon went on to become the beloved babyface fans often rooted for.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, veteran pro wrestler Triple H said fans should expect the unexpected when his brother-in-law Mcmahon squares off against Owens.

"Either fortunately or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, I have been in a lot of Hell in the Cells. This is going to be one that is very exciting," Triple H teased. "... This one should be great. My brother-in-law Shane McMahon, who will do just about anything 3 — he is crazy, is against Kevin Owens ... The last one we had, Shane jumped off the top of it through a table — I think 30 feet — so anything can happen in Hell in a Cell."

WWE Hell in a Cell will be held on Sunday, Oct. 8, at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena.
