Former World Wrestling Entertainment champion John Cena is finally ending his indefinite hiatus.

In a report by Cageside Seats, Cena will be returning to Monday Night RAW in the coming week, right after the Christmas holidays.

The event will be held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Cena is slated to face Alberto Del Rio. However, it has not been made certain if the WWE United States championship will be put on the line for the said match.

Del Rio was also Cena's last opponent before his hiatus, during the Hell in a Cell event in October. Cena lost the US championship on that said night. During the time of his hiatus, Cena spent his time fulfilling some celebrity obligations such as appearing in films and various talk shows.

He was also tapped to become the host of FOX Entertainment's upcoming military-based reality show entitled "American Grit." The series will air in a still undermined date in 2016.

Meanwhile, the list of the 2015 Slammy Awards has been released.

In another report by Cageside Seats, the Match of The Year award was given to Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker, when the two men faced off at Hell in a Cell in October. Both men were also awarded with the Rivalry of the Year honors.

The Tag Team of The Year honors went to The Usos, who went up against the likes of The New Day, Tyson Kidd & Cesaro, The Prime Time Players, and the Lucha Dragons.

For the individual honors, the Superstar of the Year award went to Seth Rollins, the Diva of the Year award to Nikki Bella, and the Breakout Star of the Year to Neville.

Other awards include the WWE Network Show of the Year, which went to the Stone Cold Podcast. Double-Cross of the Year went to Damien Mizdow when he eliminated The Miz.

The Surprise Return of the Year award went to Sting, when he attacked both Seth Rollins and Triple H during the August 24th edition of Monday Night RAW.
