Kevin Owens vs Seth Rollins on WWE Clash of Champions Main Event; Match Predictions, TV Schedule and Streaming Details

After an impressive SmackDown Live-exclusive pay-per-view, WWE Raw is under pressure to compete and put together a solid event on Sunday. SmackDown crushed doubters of their smaller roster and shorter timeslot over the past weeks, peaking at Backlash 2016.

Now it is Monday Night Raw's turn to prove they are the superior half of the brand split with the upcoming Clash of Champions. The matches are all set after the last Raw before the big event and they look both intriguing and controversial.

Of course, the main event features the young WWE Universal Championship. It will the much-anticipated matchup between The Architect and KO, a perfect new face vs. new heel feud.

The double turn came in the August 29 edition of Raw, in the Fatal 4-Way match between Owens, Rollins, Roman Reigns and Big Cass for the title. Just as Reigns was dominating the match, Triple H returned to deliver a Pedigree on the Big Dog, seemingly letting the then-Authority-backed Rollins get away with the win.

At the last moment, Triple H instead double-crossed Rollins and handed Owens the vacated belt. Since then, Owens turned heel and Rollins became the anti-Authority face. However, Triple H is predicted to return once again at Clash of Champions, distracting Rollins to hand Owens another sneaky victory.

Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley

Whatever Charlotte and Dana Brooke were planning last Monday backfired big time. Brooke was convincing Foley that a new No. 1 contender must be decided, but Foley instead inserted Bayley to a Triple-Threat Match for the Women's Championship.

Banks and Bayley are both the top faces of the Women's Division, but they also had a fierce rivalry in NXT. That said, all three had their share of competition in the developmental promotion. However, fans would be torn on who two cheer for, as Bayley and Banks are both crowd favorites.

The New Day vs. Gallows & Anderson

The build-up to the feud seemed sour for both the reigning tag-team champs and the New Japan Pro Wrestling standouts. Gallows & Anderson were both members of the Bullet Club and held the tag titles at NJPW, but they have yet to impress in their WWE run.

They will have a chance this Sunday against The New Day. A defeat for the latter may finally bring the fire back to the 13-month champs, who have had an up-and-down run with the belts.

The last title match will pit WWE Cruiserweight Champion T.J. Perkins against veteran Brian Kendrick in his first title defense. Cesaro and Sheamus' Best-of-7 series will also come to an end, with Cesaro expected to get the coveted mystery title shot. Finally, one-on-one matches will fill the match card's remaining spots, featuring Alicia Fox vs. Nia Jax and Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho.

Kickoff show starts at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST, while the main show starts at 8:00 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST, on WWE Network and select cable providers.
