WWE News, Rumors 2015: Triple H Breaks Character to Console Crying John Cena Fan

There's no doubt that WWE stars take their job seriously. Aside from training hard for every match, the wrestlers also make sure not to drop their characters to make each day in the ring more authentic for their fans.

But on Monday night's WWE RAW Reunion show, Triple H, the main heel authority figure on the show, broke character to console a crying fan. Wrestling fan Chris Olds was ringside that night and documented what happened on his Twitter account, and Olds' pictures of Triple H being nice to the fan immediately went viral.

It was reported that the fan, a little boy, was watching his wrestling hero John Cena take on Seth Rollins, The Big Show and Kane in Dallas, Texas. As he made his way to get closer to the ring, the boy realized that he was standing behind Triple H.

Soon after, the boy burst into tears for unknown reasons, but according to news.com.au, Triple H didn't let him stay sad for long.

"Turns out kid was crying—either scared by Triple H looking at him or from was going on with Cena," said Olds to the website. "Next thing you know, Triple H stands up and walks up to him to give him the small hug, brush his hair."

Triple H, whose real name is Paul Michael Levesque, is also the Executive Vice President of the WWE. Olds said that the wrestler consoled the fan until he wasn't crying anymore. Moreover, Triple H's wife, Stephanie McMahon, also broke character to help the boy feel better.

One thing that certainly made the boy smile was when Cena won the match, and Olds told the website that the young fan was invited backstage and was given an assortment of WWE merchandise.

"After the match, [ring announcer] Lilian Garcia congratulated him on Cena's win and they gave him a stack of shirts, bandannas, a hat, which he brought back to his dad sitting in front of me," said Olds.

Many applauded Triple H's heartwarming actions, but some hardcore fans questioned why the WWE star broke character.

In an interview with Bleacher Report, Levesque and McMahon revealed what really goes on behind the scenes in the WWE, and said that each storyline, interview, arguments, and interactions are crafted by the WWE's creative writing department and given the stamp of approval by WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.

"What we do is a form of method acting," said Stephanie. "We try to make the situations as real as possible. I know when I'm performing I absolutely try to become my character."

"When we can do something that makes people forget that someone wrote this, that's the art form of what we do," added Levesque.
