Xiaomi Mi4 Review: Current Flagship Will Soon Get Windows 10 ROM Straight From Microsoft

Microsoft has recently announced the Windows 10, which would soon run across all Windows platforms for the Redmond giant.

However, it seems like the company is also aiming at the Android-inclined portion of the market.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the software company will launch its Windows 10 ROM for an Android device, none other than the Xiaomi Mi4.

While the Xiaomi flagship is already almost a year old, it is still more than capable of most tasks, and definitely among the best priced smartphones in the market.

Based on the report, while Xiaomi is not directly affiliated with Microsoft, nor does it promote the use of Windows 10, it just aims to bring more options for its consumers. Currently, the Mi4 runs on Android 4.4 Kit Kat, and so people who are looking for a change could opt for the Windows 10 ROM.

In the report, Microsoft will release the ROM on June 1. However, interested Xiaomi Mi4 owners should first sign up to make sure that they are among the first to try Windows 10 on the Xiaomi handset.

Microsoft will reportedly develop more Windows 10 ROMs that would be compatible with current Android smartphones, one of which is the recently launched ZTE Nubia Z9.
