'Zoolander 2' News: Ben Stiller and Penélope Cruz Pose for Vogue
In what could be one of the greatest achievements in Derek Zoolander's (Ben Stiller) career, the greatest model of his generation has landed on the cover of Vogue, alongside Valentina (Penélope Cruz).
The magazine calls Zoolander "an irresistible dynamo of discipline, charm, and really, really, really good-lookingness." His charisma will be tested in the much-awaited sequel as he tries to conquer the world of fashion for the second time around.
Zoolander was first introduced with his good friend Hansel McDonald (Owen Wilson) in 2001 and the two took the world by storm. In the first movie, they were god-like supermodels, but more than a decade later, they realized that the fashion industry has totally scrapped their names from the Hall of Fame.
However, Zoolander's newest cover on Vogue proves that he still has the charisma that he once had. Valentina obviously doesn't need any lessons on voguing techniques, despite being an Interpol agent.
Also, a new trailer was released recently, showing Zoolander slay a cologne ad. Called the "Zoolander No. 2," the cologne seems to attract women in a weird fashion making Stiller's character a sensation among women.
In the upcoming movie, the two models will be on a wild journey of colors and clothing as they help Valentina unveil the identity of a killer who is murdering all people he deems to be the most beautiful in the world.
Out of the spotlight and seeking for paparazzi, Zoolander and McDonald will see Valentina's cry for help as an opening to once again get to the top of Hollywood — a realm that has long forgotten the duo.
The movie also stars Christine Taylor, Kristen Wiig, and Will Ferrell. Other celebrities, such as Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, and Demi Lovato, are expected to be seen in cameo appearances.
Coming out on Feb. 12, the sequel promises action and fashion combined in one to provide moviegoers with good laughs and unforgettable moments that other movies can't brag of.
