ZTE to Launch New Device, Nubia Z11 Rumored to be Unveiled
Good news for all ZTE smarpthone users. The Chinese multinational telecommunications company is scheduled to introduce a new device in their smartphone line. According to GSM Arena, ZTE's Nubia sub-brand has posted a teaser on their official Weibo account and it looks like its launch date.
The image, which showed an unspecified device on top of a galaxy background, announced that something is coming on Jan. 5. It's expected to be a big and an important one, considering how the teaser looked like. But it's not detailed yet what it will be all about. There are speculations though that it's going to reveal the new Nubia Z11.
According to a report by Phone Arena, many are hoping that the company will in fact reveal their new flagship handset on its international website. The Nubia Z11 has been long rumored already and if the guess is right, it may finally be unveiled a day before the CES show that will take place in Las Vegas.
Details about the upcoming smartphone is scarce but rumors about it on the internet is abundant. As detailed by Android Authority, the Nubia Z11 is said to sport a bezel-less curved screen with a measurement of 5.2 inches and QHD resolution of 1440 x 2650.
Under the hood, one will be able to find a quadcore Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, Adreno 530 GPU and 4 GB of RAM. If the rumor is true, the Nubia Z11 is the first device that will be launched with the latest chipset from Qualcomm.
As for its storage capacity, the device is said to have different variants which include 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. It also features a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 13-megapixel selfie snapper. A fingerprint scanner is also to be affixed on the back of the handset, which is also noted to have a metal construction.
