71-Y/O Man Wrestles 1,300-Pound Grizzly Bear (VIDEO)
Most of us at 71 will probably want to settle down and enjoy a life of peace and serenity. No drama, no unpredictability. Basically, we'd be the opposite of Doug Seus, who, at the age of 71, wrestles 1,300-pound grizzly bears.
Seus' grizzly grappling is all in a day's work of being a bear trainer. Since 1973, he and his wife Lynne have trained a variety of animals, including bears, cougars, coyotes, skunks and eagles, at Wasatch Rocky Mountain Wildlife in Heber City, Utah. Their most famous pupil, Bart the Bear, starred in feature films with such stars as Brad Pitt, Alec Baldwin, Annette Bening and Morgan Freeman.
In this video, Seus plays with Bart 2, an unrelated Alaskan brown bear, letting the animal paw him and lay on him. And in a move that astounds, terrifies and begs for the existence of ursine breath mints, Seus places his head in Bart's gaping mouth.
