Stunning Worship Song By Two Filipino Cousins Will Leave You in Tears (VIDEO)
Aldrich Lloyd Talonding and James Walter Bucong are two cousins from the southern Philippines climbing their way to YouTube stardom with a string of impressive cover song videos. While James plays the guitar, Aldrich belts out hits by Bruno Mars, Whitney Houston and Rascal Flatts. Aldrich's voice seems to know no boundaries as he stretches to reach the upper registers and hits them every time.
In this video, Aldrich and James perform Nicole C. Mullen's "Redeemer," the 2001 Dove Awards Song of the Year, as a dedication to the victims of Super Typhoon Yolanda (or Haiyan to us). The beginning translates to:
"To the victims of Super Typhoon Yolanda, our hearts go out to you and our prayers are with you. So with dedicate this song to you."
This cover is so good, it deserves some award of its own. Without any advanced video or audio equipment, their talent and spirit shines through crystal clear. (Tears may flow when they go up a key; consider yourself warned.)
