Don Jaquish made it his mission to honor his wife Babbette's memory by planting fields of her favorite flower. Babbette died last November at 66, after a long battle with multiple myeloma, a cancer of the bone marrow.
Confederate Flags Erected at MLK Center and Church in Atlanta; Police Considering Hate Crime Charges
The MLK Center for Nonviolent Social Change and the Ebenezer Baptist Church were surrounded by four Confederate flags early in the morning Thursday and authorities are working to find the culprits. Surveillance cameras captured two white men laying the flags on the ground, and if the men are caught, police are considering hate crime charges.
