If you paid your money, you could choose whatever you wanted. Your preferences were paramount. It was all about you. It sounds like some churches we know.
We hear from pastors almost every month who decide to leave their churches when things are going very well.
Larger churches will have a more difficult time staying larger. At least, that is my postulate according to our early research. I am defining a larger church by the size of its largest worship service, not by its total attendance.
Tens of thousands of pastors and other church staff members are becoming retirement age each year. We have not seen anything like this phenomenon.
