With the second Trump administration slated to begin in less than two months, President-elect Donald Trump has been announcing his cabinet picks on social media. While some of his nominees will likely receive bipartisan support from the United States Senate, the body tasked with confirming them, others might have a more difficult path ahead. 

The Trump cabinet nominees include prominent political figures historically associated with both political parties, many current political officeholders as well as political outsiders who have never worked in government before. Most positions will require confirmation by the Republican-controlled Senate, which will have 53 Republicans and 47 Democrats come January. 

Here are 12 picks Trump has made for his cabinet.
