‘Here I Am To Worship’ Reaches #1 On CCLI Chart
Matt Redman prodigy Tim Hughes’ 2001 hit ‘Here I Am To Worship’ has been decorated once again, achieving the status as the number one song on the North American Christian Copyright Licensing International chart. CCLI, which monitors music sung in over 140,000 congregations worldwide, estimates that over 45 million North Americans have sung the song in church, at conferences, and other meetings. The song is also number one on the CCL Music Reproduction License Chart in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

Only once in a great while does a song come along that marries our innermost feelings with such a passionate anthem statement of our faith. We are extremely proud to be a part of this with Tim.”
The song, which is EMI CMG Publishing and ThankYou Music’s first number one in the area, was introduced on the compilation I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever 2 and was the title track for Hughes’ national debut album. In 2003, the song won the Dove Award for Inspirational Recorded Song and, in 2004, the Worship Song Dove Award and has been recorded by artists such as Michael W. Smith, Chris Tomlin, Rebecca St. James, SonicFLOOd, and others.

The accomplishment comes to the 26 year-old Britain just as his second album, When Silence Falls, is receiving widespread acclaim. The album features the song, “Beautiful One,” which has already been recorded by Jeremy Camp and By The Tree for their 2004 releases, and is currently number 360 on the CCLI U.S. Worship Leader magazines states, “Simply put, if you liked Here I Am To Worship, you're going to love When Silence Falls.”
