‘On Course’ Magazine Initiates ‘Waiting Room’ Outreach

On September 24th, National Youth Ministries will release On Course—The Waiting Room Edition as a free resource to bring the gospel to teenagers. The special 48-page edition of ‘On Course’ will feature stories from celebrities such as Stephen Baldwin, Relient K, Andy Serkis (Gollum from Lord Of The Rings) and model Laura Calenberg with the intention of connecting readers to a local church.
On Course editor Amber Weigand-Buckley says, "We wanted to give youth workers a tangible witnessing tool for a market On Course doesn't normally reach. They can help us in this effort by organizing a 'Waiting Room' outreach for their students to kick off the school year.
"It is our desire to get this edition of OC in every waiting room -- doctor's office, coffeehouse, dermatologist lobby, salon -- in North America," Weigand-Buckley explains. "The possibilities are endless. Anywhere there is a magazine rack, there is an opportunity to spread Jesus."

"The Waiting Room Edition" is available free in bulk quantities of 6 or more by request only. Shipping charges of approximately 10¢ per issue requested apply and personalized imprinting of the back cover is available.

"Other magazines are telling teens they have to be beautiful to receive love and acceptance," adds Weigand-Buckley. "It's exciting to have a part in creating a resource that has the potential to reach thousands with the Truth.”
