Releasing just before First Responders Day, "First Responders" gives viewers a look inside the struggles faced by local heroes.
The drama, written and produced by Rick Eldridge, stars "War Room" star Cameron Arnett, along with Chris Nelson, Karen Boles and Mari White.

The film is an inspiring story that celebrates the vitality of marriage and the bonds of friendship that help firefighters, police officers and EMTs through the many challenges they face daily.
"The movie tells the story of Karen Williams, a trauma therapist, who has witnessed firsthand the courage that shapes those who work in emergency services. But then her husband, a career firefighter, returns from a life-changing blaze," the synopsis reads. "Karen discovers that a degree, along with years of counseling first responders, has done little to prepare her to help her husband’s battle with PTSD. Unable to see a path to save her marriage, she turns to God and celebrates the truth that through Him all things are possible."
