130 High School Christians Fast for Chile

Stacy Zinn, Samantha Bolyard and David Pauley were among 130 members of the Preston High Christian Fellowship Club in Kingwood, WV, who drew stick figures to represent the 29,000 children who die each day from hunger and malnutrition. The fellowship just ended fasting on Friday afternoon during 30-Hour Famine event sponsored by the Christian charity World Vision. The students collected donations and pledges toward an effort to build a well in Chile, which is estimated to cost $4,000 to $5,000.
