'18if' Episode 13 Spoilers: The Dream Ends in Upcoming Finale

Could the beginning of the end really be coming on the next and final episode of the Japanese fantasy anime series, "18if"?

The previous episode has finally brought Haruto right at the threshold of Eve's territory, and the final battle between him and the girl who is believed to be able to bring forth the end of the world is about to commence.

On the other hand, something foreboding seems to have started in the real world as well, and it seems that the fate of the world and everyone in it may well be in the hands of a guy who has been in a coma all this time.

The preview shown at the end of the previous episode simply stated that the dream will end in the upcoming finale. And one can't help but ask, whose dream is about to end? Could this be an indication that Haruto will finally be waking up? How can this possible turn of events affect the ultimate outcome of his encounter with Eve?

Fans are also hoping for more information on what has happened to Haruto. It may have already been hinted in a previous episode that he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the street, but it has not been directly confirmed to be the truth.

The witches, who have all seen where Haruto is and his current condition, have also begun wondering how long has the guy been in this state?

Haruto's life has been shrouded in mystery ever since the series began. And since the story is about to end with the next episode, it just might be the best time to finally feature Haruto's past and the kind of life he led before his accident.

What revelations will the finale bring, and how will these affect the upcoming showdown between Haruto and Eve? Will the former witches that Haruto has helped be able to help him back in return?

"18if" airs on Fridays at 10 p.m. JST on Tokyo MX and on Saturdays at 9 p.m. JST on AT-X. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes are also available in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
